January to April, 2008

 

This quarter began with my family and I singing and preaching in Del Rio, Texas at Temple Baptist Church.  I met with another one of our church’s missionaries, Brother Ernie Harmon and he put us in touch with a man in North Carolina that is going to donate lumber for some cabins and a tabernacle at the ranch.  Brother Ernie Harmon also put us in touch with a man from Fort Davis that is a Christian who sells water well equipment.

 

We got the quotes from the well man and a water system will run us about $13,000 to get water out of the well to the surface with a solar powered system.  We will still have to buy the storage tanks and water lines.  Pray for us to sell our house! 

 

We received our first shipment of material for the cabins from Kevin in North Carolina.  We received enough floor joists for the two cabins in addition to many exterior doors and two interior doors.  Kevin also sent us windows that will be used for the cabins.  We have sent him a list of remaining materials needed and he is working on it now.  Pray the Lord will send him the materials soon.

 

We were able to deliver two of the new doors to Brother Ernie Harman in Del Rio, Texas for a building he will be using for offices for his ministry.  Ernie sent us back home with materials for the electrical in the cabins and two propane tanks to be used for the cabins as well.

 

Lisa, my wife began a new Bible study for the women at First Calvary and so far it has been good.  Pray for her and the attendees as they learn about the importance of prayer and God’s will for their lives.

 

In closing, we want to thank everybody for their support and continued prayers.  It is exciting to see what is developing as we continue to see the Lord work with us and other people.
